DSM Appoints New Executive Management Staff

DSM, a food ingredients company, has appointed Pieter Nuboer as vice president of Animal Nutrition and Health, Asia Pacific, and André Rhoen as vice president of Human Nutrition and Health, Asia Pacific.

Mr Nuboer will retain his additional position as president of Nutritional Products, Asia Pacific. He joined the company in 2009 to lead human nutrition and health activities in Asia Pacific. In his new position, he will report to David Blakemore, global president of Animal Nutrition and Health.

Mr Rhoen joined the company in 2001 and has held various positions in the Global Strategy and Acquisitions department, as well as the Intermediates and Nutrition businesses. He will report to Jeremy Xu, global president of Human Nutrition and Health.

“We’re seeing increasing pressure on resources and the food chain, along with new patterns of consumption impacting the environment, prompting heightened attention to health and well-being,” said Mr Xu.

Both Mr Nuboer and Mr Rhoen will be based in the company’s Asia Pacific headquarters in Singapore.
