The company received a ‘lower double-digit, million-euro amount’ order to build a dairy plant from AmulFed Dairy in Gandhinagar, India.

The laboratory will test powder properties such as flowability, bulk density and particle size distribution, and help design powder packaging systems that optimise production and reduce waste.

Fonterra, a dairy giant, has begun production at its new whole milk drying plant in New Zealand that was built by German company Gesellschaft für Entstaubungsanlagen (GEA). The plant is unique as it is the world’s first earthquake proof plant to be built.

GEA’s business will be further developed as part of an autonomous group and the brand will retain its name until a new one is introduced.

In addition to the website for China, the company is also preparing other local sites.

GEA has further developed its Küba market SP and Küba SG commercial air cooler ranges. New motors reduce energy consumption by 30 percent and at the same time, increase efficiency to over 90 percent.

The GEA AccuJector is designed for accurate injection of low-profile products, such as fish, bone-in and boneless poultry and beef steaks. The machine features a close needle pattern for good brine distribution and leaves minimal visible needle marks on skin-on products.
The company’s Heat Exchangers segment is presenting its product portfolio on the web for the first time.
