Multivac’s R 235, a thermoforming packaging machine, has been developed for packing sliced products. It is equipped with standard format sets and sealing dies tailored to producing flat packs of sliced products, and can be additionally equipped with preheating in the forming station to ensure maximum output can be achieved.

The machine also comes with an interface for linking a slicer. With a lowered film infeed, the loading conveyor of the slicer can be placed horizontally at the height of the machine frame, enabling the length of the machine to be reduced significantly. The machine can cater to a wide range of packaging materials, cutting units and formats, and can adapt to changes in these easily at any given time. Labelling and marking systems can also be integrated.
