Cambridge Engineered Solutions introduced the DuraHinge Safety Edge, a flex-style metal conveyor belt fabricated with reinforced edge technology to prevent snagging. This improves employer safety and food handling sanitation, especially in the meat and poultry industries.
The belt is an update on their conveyor belt line-up, and features a fully secured edge that allows for tight transfers in the plant. The belt’s outside loop dimensions also match industry standards, which allows a fit for all conveyors.
The end loops also sweep back around to the adjacent end loop so as to prevent catching while maintaining enough openness for splicing.
