Kerry To Showcase Science-Based Functional And Nutritional Ingredients At VitaFoods Asia 2019

At Vitafoods Asia, Kerry, the Taste & Nutrition company (Stand J20), will highlight its quality, science-backed functional and nutritional food and beverage ingredients and the solutions they provide to create benefit-driven products. These ingredients include:

GanedenBC, aspore-forming probiotics for digestive health.

Wellmune, a yeast beta glucan for immune support.

Ultranor, a grass-fed milk protein range suitable for many foods and beverages applications.

ProDiem and ProDiem Refresh, a complete nutritional plant protein solution that delivers a clean neutral flavour.

Kerry will feature a Korean-inspired roasted rice latte at its exhibit that combines an indulgent taste and wellness benefits. Fortified with ProDiem, the latte offers a complete amino-acid profile, without the chalky flavour often associated with other plant proteins. The addition of the highly stable probiotic GanedenBC brings digestive health benefits to this latte. In addition, a Kerry nutrition scientist, Aoife Marie Murphy, PhD, will do a presentation and discuss opportunities for nutrient fortification with functional ingredients and how it may be the key to optimising positive aging. Her presentation entitled “Proactive Health for Positive Aging” will take place the Life Stage Theatre on Wednesday, September 25 from 1:40 pm to 2:10 pm.
